FOLX: TAKING UP SPACE

 
 
 

I was brought on to work with talent and contributors to develop their stories for the award-winning Taking Up Space Campaign for Pride 2021. The campaign functioned as a love letter to our community and detailed all the complex, emotional, and embodied ways that we, as queer and trans people, take up space in this world. We wanted to acknowledge the depth and beauty of our community but create a Pride campaign in direct opposition to the brands who celebrate our lives for one month a year (aka rainbow washing).
